The backyard beehive rental is an annual service priced at $1,500, billed once per year.
This is a recurring yearly cost for clients who choose to continue the program. The pricing reflects the ongoing, specialized care required to maintain a healthy hive throughout all four seasons, as well as the equipment, time, and expertise involved.

Beekeeping Mentorship: Join all scheduled inspections to learn beekeeping, $720 annually
Honey Extraction Experience: The Extraction process comes to you! You will learn how to extract, filter and jar your own honey with Bee Joyfarm provided equipment in your kitchen or garage, $500

When will bees arrive to my property? New bees are typically installed Early May - June. This is nature dependent.
What happens before bee arrive? Your property analysis will occur first, then it’s time to get to work on preparing the space for the bees by clearing space, landscaping if needed etc. Equipment will also be delivered and set up prior to bees arriving.
