Beekeeping 101

8:00am - 2:00pm
1160 Everett Court, Lakewood
Class will include 4 hours in classroom with activities and demos, 2 hours at the backyard hives. Covered topics will be basic bee biology, Denver season to-do's including installation, varroa mite treatment, swarm prevention, harvest etc., resources for how to get started as a beekeeper and tool demos. Protective jackets or suits will be provided.
*In order for the class to occur, 4 people must signup. If the minimum is not met by Saturday, June 7th a full refund will be issued and the class will be cancelled.
