Bee JoyFarm at 1160 Everett Court, Lakewood
Get an up-close look at a working honeybee hive and learn what’s happening inside throughout the season. We’ll start with a 15-minute introduction to honeybee basics and hive life, followed by about 30 minutes at the hive observing the bees and their work. We’ll wrap up with a 15-minute honey tasting featuring local honey. Beekeeping jackets and gloves are provided; please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to get checked in and comfortable.
